Aeneas Williams to be Featured Speaker at Missouri Governor's Prayer Breakfast
Gold Jacket Aeneas Williams has been a strong leader in the city of St. Louis not only on the field, but off the field as well. Williams, who is now a pastor, devotes his time to helping others in the community.
The former Cardinals and Rams defensive back and safety will be the featured speaker at the Missouri Governor’s Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016 at the Capitol Plaza Hotel and Convention Center in Jefferson City, Mo. The Prayer Breakfast is an annual inter-faith event for all leaders and citizens of Missouri. Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit the Governor’s Student Leadership Forum on faith and values. Williams has traveled to Ferguson, Mo. for multiple mission trips and helped clean up the city after riots destroyed parts of it. He also brought "calm and stability" to the area by sitting down with city leaders, protesters and police officers.
