HOF Artifact of the Week
These are the pants Joe Namath wore while playing football for Beaver Falls (PA) High School. The Pro Football Hall of Fame will collect high school and college related artifacts if they are from a member of the Hall of Fame. We also have Jim Kelly’s East Brady High School jersey.
Beaver Falls and East Brady are in Western Pennsylvania which is a hot bed of Hall of Fame quarterbacks. George Blanda (Youngwood), Johnny Unitas (Pittsburgh), Joe Montana (New Eagle) and Dan Marino (Pittsburgh) are all from Western Pennsylvania. More Hall of Famers (33) have been born in Pennsylvania than any other state.
