The NFL family is providing $8 million to support communities affected by Hurricane Helene, according to a league news release.

Led by individual contributions from clubs and ownership groups from the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Houston Texans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and NFL Foundation, these donations will deliver critical resources and support to those affected by this tragic storm.

In addition, the NFL Foundation, the league’s philanthropic arm, is complementing these club donations with a $1 million contribution to support relief efforts. The NFL also is hosting a Hurricane Helene disaster relief auction with the Red Cross through the league’s NFL Auction platform to support recovery efforts.

“Our hearts go out to all of those impacted by Hurricane Helene, and the NFL is committed to doing our part to help the affected communities recover,” said NFL Vice President of Philanthropy and Executive Director of the NFL Foundation Alexia Gallagher.

Donations to the American Red Cross to provide meals and shelter to help those affected by Hurricane Helene can be made at redcross.org/nfl.
