Vendors, musical acts confirmed for second Ribs Burnoff at Hall of Fame
Three-day event includes appearances by members of Class of 2025 to unveil banner, enshrinee exhibit
Several musical acts and award-winning ribbers have confirmed their participation in the 2025 AEP Ohio Foundation Hall of Fame Ribs Burnoff presented by Minutemen Workforce Solutions.The three-day unofficial kickoff to summer on the campus of the Pro Football Hall of Fame over Memorial Day weekend will include appearances by members of the Class of 2025 presented by Visual Edge IT, a performance by the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps and special activities for guests of all ages. The event will open Friday afternoon, May 23, and conclude with fireworks Sunday evening, May 25.
Admission is free all three days.
Eight ribbers will compete for cash prizes during the weekend: Armadillo's BBQ, Big Bubbalou's, Big Show BBQ, Blazin' Bronco, Johnson's BBQ, Off The Bone BBQ, Texas Lightning BBQ and Uncle Bacon’s BBQ, which won the inaugural Hall of Fame Ribs Burnoff’s top award.
Acts that will appear on the Roto-Rooter music stage will include Old Skool Cleveland, New Wave Nation, Sugarcreek, Country Redford, Bad Juju and Rockhouse. Additional musical acts, along with additional programming and special events, will be announced soon.
To help honor the meaning of Memorial Day weekend, $1 from each alcoholic beverage sold will be donated to Wreaths Across America.
Elected to the Class of 2025 were ERIC ALLEN, JARED ALLEN, ANTONIO GATES and STERLING SHARPE. On May 23, they will help unveil the huge banner that adorns the exterior of the Hall of Fame building and features the new class. The following morning, they will return to the museum to unveil the multi-case “Class of 2025” exhibit with artifacts from their careers.
Hours for the 2025 AEP Ohio Foundation Hall of Fame Ribs Burnoff presented by Minutemen Workforce Solutions will be 3 to 10 p.m. May 23, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. May 24 and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. May 25.
