Guests visiting the Pro Football Hall of Fame this weekend will be treated to a special showing of the NFL Network series “A Football Life.” This week’s screening of “A Football Life: Eric Dickerson,” a one-hour documentary produced by NFL Films, profiles the life and career of the Hall of Fame running back.

“A Football Life: Eric Dickerson” will be shown continuously from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 11 at the Hall of Fame.

Each episode of this season’s “A Football Life” is being shown at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The shows align with the Hall of Fame’s Mission to: Honor the Heroes of the Game, Preserve its History, Promote its Values & Celebrate Excellence EVERYWHERE.

Dickerson, who was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1999, retired as the NFL’s second all-time leading rusher. His single-season mark of 2,105 yards in 1984 still stands today and the jersey and goggles he wore when setting that record can be seen on exhibit at the Hall.

“The thing that made that record so special is that all of the players were involved in it. Every guy wanted a piece of that…That made me feel good and I think that’s what that record means to me,” Dickerson states in the documentary.

Upcoming “A Football Life” episodes include profiles on several great NFL legends and Pro Football Hall of Famers. Screenings of “A Football Life” at the Hall of Fame are included with the price of admission.
