DeBartolo would be 20th contributor in Canton

Class of 2014 finalist Edward DeBartolo, Jr. owned the San Francisco 49ers for 24 seasons. Under his leadership, the team reached the playoffs 16 times, won 13 division titles, and became the first NFL franchise to win five Super Bowls.

If elected on February 1, DeBartolo would join 19 others who’ve been enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame under the “Contributors” category.
