Doug Williams' Redskins helmet
This is the helmet that Doug Williams wore during Super Bowl XXII. Williams led the Washington Redskins to a 42-10 victory over the Denver Broncos. Williams, the first African American quarterback to start a Super Bowl, threw 4 TDs in the second quarter and finished the game with 340 yards passing. He was named the game's Most Valuable Player.
Last summer, he donated his helmet to the Hall of Fame where is now on display in the brand new Lamar Hunt Super Bowl Gallery.
