Former 49er visits Hall of Fame

{GALLERY}Eric Wright, who played 10 seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, visited the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Friday afternoon. He was in Canton on a business trip and took time to tour the Hall of Fame.

Wright played cornerback for the 49ers from 1981 to 1990. Twice named to the Pro Bowl during his career, Wright won four Super Bowls in his 10 seasons. He played in four of the 49ers Super Bowl wins (Super Bowls XVI, XIX, XXIII, and XXIV) and started at right cornerback for San Francisco in the first two of those Super Bowls.

In all, Wright played in 110 regular season games and recorded 18 interceptions which he returned for 256 yards and 2 TDs. His single best year came in 1983 when he had a team-high seven interceptions for 164 yards.
