Hall Houses Heisman

The Pro Football Hall of Fame received today one of Tim Brown’s most prized possessions – his 1987 Heisman Trophy. The award recognizes the most outstanding college football player whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity. He's only the ninth Heisman Trophy winner elected to the Hall

Brown won the prestigious trophy after his outstanding senior season at Notre Dame. He finished the year with 39 catches for 846 yards and 1,847 all-purpose yards for seven touchdowns to lead the Irish to an 8-4 record and a postseason bowl appearance. He was later drafted sixth overall by the Los Angeles Raiders in the 1988 NFL Draft.

Brown’s Heisman Trophy was immediately placed on exhibit in the Hall of Fame’s Class of 2015 Gallery.

The Raiders legend will be enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Aug. 8. Get your tickets now>>>
