Each Wednesday throughout the 2005 NFL season, Profootballhof.com examines a current NFL record.

Willie_"Flipper"_AndersonWillie “Flipper” Anderson produced a record-shattering 336 yards receiving as he led the Los Angeles Rams to an overtime victory against the New Orleans Saints on November 26, 1989. His yardage total included the game-winner which came on a 26-yard hook up with quarterback Jim Everett.

Anderson’s record appears to be safe for many years to come. Since establishing the mark, only six receivers have had days of 250 yards or more.
