"I am so proud of this trophy and I am proud to share it with Cheryl," Smith explained after the season finale. "We worked our tails off."

Now, Smith and Burke step back on the dance floor beginning Sept. 24 when they defend their crown on Dancing with the Stars All-Stars. Their competition this season includes Melissa Rycroft as well as Joey Fatone, Pamela Anderson, Kirstie Alley, Bristol Palin among others.

“Everyone is really good. I’m just happy Emmitt is the only football player on the show,” Burke revealed. “You have Apolo [Ohno], who is loved by everybody, Shawn [Johnson], and you have other sports players on the show, so I think it’s going to be between them.”

Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback JOE NAMATH hit the links on Thursday, Sept. 13, to help raise money for the March of Dimes, by hosting a Celebrity Golf Classic.

The Tournament took place at the historic Bethpage State Park course in Farmingdale, N.Y. The Joe Namath – March of Dimes Celebrity Golf Classic is the largest and most successful tournament in the country for the March of Dimes. More than 100 celebrities joined local amateurs to raise more than $900,000 to help save babies.

Former Washington Redskins great and Hall of Fame cornerback DARRELL GREEN is helping the New Kent County, Va. school division launch a new initiative to improve the health of its educators. The school district’s Superintendent Dr. Rick Richardson has made it possible for all employees to begin the "EduFit4Life" program.

The program includes up-front assessments and individual counseling, analyzing body fat, blood pressure, blood sugar levels, and more. Fitness goals will be set, nutritional education programs will begin and exercise classes will be offered.

Throughout the School year met goals will be rewarded with various programs, most importantly, an increased contribution to their health insurance.

Green’s company, Walk Fit Health Nation has also partnered with the school district to help participants achieve their goals.

Walk Fit is a social networking exercising program which implements a pedometer directly linked to the Internet that tracks, records, and reports ongoing exercise habits of the user. Teachers and staff will form groups and compete with each other, or with themselves.

Green will visit New Kent High School on Monday to speak to the school's football team as well as lead a pep rally for the faculty at 11 a.m. Afterward Green will lead the entire faculty in a lap around the school track.
