The Story of Pro Football

This session topic features a general discussion of the “museum concept” brought to life through the use of our priceless artifacts and historical documents, which illustrates the museum approach of conveying the history of pro football through artifacts/documents. There is also a discussion on Northeast Ohio's historic ties to pro football and why the Hall of Fame is located in Canton, Ohio. There is a 15-minute Hall of Fame video shown during this session. The program is supplemented by a lesson aligned with national standards of education.

Program Outline:
 5 minutes – Welcome
 20 minutes – Discussion on “the story of Pro Football” and the museum
 15 minutes – Hall of Fame Video
 10 minutes – Question and Answers

A vital part to the total learning experience for the participating students is completion of the supplemental materials. These activities are designed to better prepare your students for a more engaging and worthwhile educational experience during your scheduled session as well as to allow the opportunity for educators to assess what students have learned following the live broadcast.

The cost is $50 for a point-to-point conference. If you have more than one location interested in participating in a schedule session, our multi-point fee is $35 per site (must be arranged through bridging service). Connections can be made through IP only (unless a bridging service is used).
