Tight record

Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten has proven he’s one of the best players to ever play his position. Witten became the third tight end with 10,000 career receiving yards (10,014) after his performance during Week 5 against the Houston Texans. These are his gloves and cleats from that game.

He finished the day with four receptions for 59 yards in his team’s 20-17 overtime win.

The only other tight ends to achieve this milestone were Tony Gonzalez and Gold Jacket Shannon Sharpe. Witten was the second fastest (180 games) of the group to reach the milestone mark.

Witten's artifacts are currently displayed in the Hall's Pro Football Today Gallery.
