The Mission Featuring Multi-Platinum Recording Artist and Songwriter Jimmie Allen
The annual Concert for Legends caps off the overall Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls. This year’s co-headliners are country music superstar Brad Paisley and legendary rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd.
The latest guest on “The Mission” Podcast will serve as the opening act at this year’s concert: multi-platinum recording artist and songwriter Jimmie Allen, the reigning 2021 ACM New Male Artist of the Year.
On this episode, Allen shares his gratitude for the opportunity to perform at this year’s star-studded event, he discusses his friendship with Brad Paisley and their new duet “Freedom Was A Highway” and talks about his debut picture book, My Voice Is a Trumpet.
Also, the lifetime Philadelphia Eagles fan was treated to a surprise by a Hall of Famer from the Class of 2018. Watch to find out which Gold Jacket made a special appearance!
“I’ve been a football fan my entire life, and I’ve always wanted to visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame,” Allen told the Hall of Fame. “So, getting the chance to perform at the Pro Football Hall of Fame is definitely more than a dream come true. It’s pretty full-circle for me, so I’m really looking forward to this show.”
