The Mission: 'Road to Canton' Feat. Alan Faneca
HOF Productions’ ‘Road to Canton’ Mission Podcast with the Class of 2021 Finalists continues today with former Pittsburgh Steelers guard Alan Faneca.
This is the sixth time that Faneca has been selected as a Finalist. If he and 2021 Contributor Finalist Bill Nunn are both elected, they would join Steelers greats Donnie Shell, Bill Cowher and Troy Polamalu for the Class of 2020 and 2021 Enshrinements in Canton this August.
Alan discussed what it was like to get the call on being a Finalist from David Baker.
“I always enjoy getting the call from David,” Faneca said. “Great guy, you know every year it kind of catches me off guard. Here we go again. Let’s do it. It is definitely exciting.”
