
The Pro Football Hall of Fame is presenting a "A Salute to Veterans" on Saturday November 12th.
Highlighting the event will be the presence of the Hall's special guest, Gale Sayers. A four-time Pro Bowl selection, Sayers was one of the NFL's most exciting players. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1977. Sayers recently embarked on USO Tours in Iraq and will talk about that experience.
The formal ceremony is slated for 10:00 a.m. and will be emceed by Leon Bibb, a news anchor for WEWS NewsChannel5 in Cleveland. Gary Weaver, National Director of Communications for DAV will be on hand to show the patriotic documetary GIs of the Gridiron, a film produced for the National Football League.
