Observations from a Saturday morning

{GALLERY}We are now two weeks away from Hall of Fame Weekend and officially inducting the Class of 2009 into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. As I came in this morning there were 20 or so guys putting up the first of many tents in the parking lots. They were working on two of the 3,500-square-foot merchandise tents. The building was packed with fans even though it was still early on a Saturday morning. In my walk through the parking lot I passed cars from 9 different states- OH, IL, PA, NY, VA, WV, FL, WI, MA and an RV from CO. And these were just the cars I passed on one side of the lot!

This past week I spent a lot of time working out the details for our two autograph sessions during Hall of Fame Weekend. These are always very popular and exciting events. The Class of 2009 autograph session will be on Sunday August 9th from 3:00-4:30 featuring Bruce Smith, Rod Woodson and Randall McDaniel. It is such a great time to get some of the first autographs from the newly elected Hall of Famers. On Saturday August 8th we have two autograph sessions featuring some of the returning Hall of Famers. So far we have Mel Blount, Fred Biletnikoff, Tony Dorsett, Dan Fouts, Joe Greene, Forrest Gregg, Bob Lilly, Mel Renfro and Roger Staubach. Just yesterday we confirmed Dan Marino was going to participate this year. Additional Hall of Famers will be added all next week so keep checking back on our site.

We have been receiving in tons of new merchandise daily for the Enshrinement ceremony and game. We have some great Class of 2009 merchandise including T-shirts, hats, glassware and many more items. The match-up items for the game look great. We have some really cool T-shirts, hats, pennants and much more. The game merchandise is really unique and special because it focuses on the 50th Anniversary of the AFL and  the throwback Bills and Oilers (Titans) logos and marks.
