Heading to the Super Bowl

2/3/2010

Early tomorrow morning I head down to South Florida for the Super Bowl and selection of the Class of 2010 for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Wednesday and Thursday will be spent getting ready for the election and meeting with people from the NFL and various vendors and partners of the Hall of Fame.

There is a golf tournament held by some Hall of Famers that I will play in on Thursday. Thursday night is the EA Sports Super Bowl party where we will attend with some Hall of Famers. On Friday we have our Hall of Fame Luncheon with around 30 Hall of Famers. This is always a great event and we raise a significant amount of money at this event for the Hall. Friday night is the Commissioner’s Party which is attended by representatives from the teams, NFL, vendors and partner’s of the NFL.

On Saturday, we select the Class of 2010. We will be doing this live on NFL Network with our show kicking off at 5:00 p..m. We cannot wait for this as we will all learn who the new Class is at the same time as the public does. This should be a great Class. Saturday night is the NFL Licensees party which is always a great time and always a hard ticket to get. The tailgate party and game on Sunday will be a great time and we all hope it doesn’t rain like it did the last time the Super Bowl was in South Florida. All and all it should be a great week.

So for my picks. I picked the Saints from the start to be here so they have to be my pick. Even though they are an underdog, I think the injury to Dwight Freeney is going to be the deciding factor. Everyone enjoy your Super Bowl parties! My pick:

Saints 34, Colts 31
