Ed Reed's shoes

These are the shoes worn by Baltimore Ravens strong safety Ed Reed when he recorded the longest interception return in National Football League. He ran back an interception 106 yards for a touchdown to seal his team's win over the Cleveland Browns on November 7, 2004.  It was the longest interception return in NFL history surpassing the 103-yard returns by San Diego's Vencie Glenn in 1987 and Louis Oliver of the Miami Dolphins in 1992.

Reed has since bested that mark when he returned an interception 107 yards in a game in 2008. Mementos from that play are currently on exhibit at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
