Lake County Captains welcome Pro Football Hall of Fame

The Lake County Captains, the Class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, will welcome Pro Football Hall of Fame members Leroy Kelly and Paul Warfield for two separate events this summer at Classic Park in Eastlake, Ohio near Cleveland.

Sunday, June 30, is slated to be Pro Football Hall of Fame Day. Kelly, the former Cleveland Browns running back will sign autographs for fans on the concourse level of the stadium prior to the 1:30 p.m. game. He will then be recognized and throw a ceremonial first pitch on the field during pregame ceremonies.

A separate event with Warfield is planned for Sunday, July 21. The former Ohio State University, Cleveland Browns and Miami Dolphins wide receiver will sign autographs prior to the 7 p.m. game for fans on the concourse level of Classic Park. He will also be recognized on the field during pregame ceremonies when he will throw out a ceremonial first pitch. 

Following the postgame fireworks show, Warfield will be the featured postgame speaker for the Captains Faith Night festivities in which he will give a testimony of faith to attendees from the field.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame will be present at both events with an informational display at Classic Park as part of the festivities.The display can be found on the concourse level of the stadium behind home plate.
