The Oakland Raiders and Philadelphia Eagles will play in the 2006 AFC-NFC Pro Football Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio on Sunday August 6. The announcement came this morning as the National Football League released the 2006 preseason schedule.
The Raiders will make their third appearance in Canton while the game marks the fourth time that the Eagles have played in the preseason classic.
Ticket availability will not be known until all renewal orders from annual ticket holders are completed. A very limited number of tickets are expected to be available for public sale. Information on ticket availability will be announced soon and posted on the Hall of Fame’s website (Profootballhof.com).
The 2006 Hall of Fame Game will be televised nationally by NBC with kickoff from Fawcett Stadium slated for 8:00 PM ET.
