Pro Football Hall of Fame Launches Official Snapchat Account

The Pro Football Hall of Fame has launched its official Snapchat account that now will feature daily content. Fans can add the Hall of Fame on Snapchat by simply searching its username – ProFootballHOF – under the “Add Friends” portion of the app or by opening the Snapchat app and scanning the Pro Football Hall of Fame Snapchat icon.

The Hall of Fame will be hosting a contest for new followers with a chance to win a Hall of Fame Membership which includes complimentary museum admission and parking for one year in addition to other member exclusive benefits. To enter the contest, an individual must follow the Hall on Snapchat and then send a private snap to the ProFootballHOF account telling the Hall which of the 303 Pro Football Hall of Famers is their favorite. Anyone participating in the contest must be at least 18 years of age to enter. The contest begins Wednesday, Dec. 7 and all entries must be submitted by Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 11:59 p.m. ET to be considered for the grand prize. Ten winners will be selected from the entries to receive the grand prize. Winners will be contacted directly by the Pro Football Hall of Fame via Snapchat with more details on how to claim their prize.

Snapchat is a mobile photo messaging and multimedia sharing app released in 2011. It is home to 100 million daily active users worldwide with over 10 billion mobile videos viewed per day through the app. Roughly 60 percent of all smartphone users are now on Snapchat with the average user spending approximately 25-30 minutes each day on the app.
