In the Dallas Cowboys’ Christmas Eve clash against the Miami Dolphins, linebacker Micah Parsons recorded a half sack, pushing his season total to 13 sacks. Parsons became the second player in NFL history to record at least 13 sacks in each of their first three seasons since 1982, when the individual sack became an official statistic.

The first to accomplish this was Pro Football Hall of Famer REGGIE WHITE who in his first three seasons — 1985-87 with the Philadelphia Eagles — totaled 52 sacks.

Since entering the league in 2021, Parsons ranks fourth among all players with 39.5 sacks.

Parsons was named first-team All-Pro and voted to the Pro Bowl in each of his first two seasons. After his 2021 rookie season, he earned NFL AP Defensive Rookie of the Year and NFL PFWA Rookie of the Year honors.

Parsons' game-worn jersey from the Christmas Eve game has been placed on display in the Hall of Fame's “Pro Football Today Gallery.”
