Josh Allen’s record-breaking touchdown ball ‘rushes’ to Canton

On Nov. 30, Josh Allen cemented his name in the NFL’s record books when he scored the 76th rushing touchdown of his career, breaking Cam Newton’s previous record of 75.

On a third-and-goal play in the fourth quarter against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Allen took the snap and ran off the right side of the offensive line 8 yards into the end zone, carrying Steelers defenders with him.

Allen’s offensive line not only helped him cross the goal line on his record-breaking play, but they also left their mark on the game ball now on display at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

Members of the Bills’ offensive line unit — Connor McGovern, David Edwards, Alec Anderson, Spencer Brown, Dion Dawkins, Ryan Van Demark and O’Cyrus Torrence — along with Allen signed the ball, which visitors to the museum can see in the “Pro Football Today” gallery.
