Summer Internship Program

Summer Internship Program

The Pro Football Hall of Fame, located in Canton, Ohio, the birthplace of the National Football League, is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization with the Mission to “Honor the Greatest of the Game, Preserve its History, Promote its Values & Celebrate Excellence Together.” An exhilarating world class museum and attraction, the Pro Football Hall of Fame pays tribute to the talents and triumphs of pro football’s greatest.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame Summer Internship Program provides a meaningful and educational, hands-on experience in a variety of disciplines. Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to the organization’s success and gain real world experience throughout the summer leading up to the annual Enshrinement Week.

In addition to departmental work, all interns are required to attend weekly OTAs – organized team activities – which includes engagement with industry experts, networking opportunities, professional skill development and team building activities.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame understands most individuals seeking an internship are doing so to gain experience. While no particular professional experience is required, preference is given to those who show that they have taken initiative to develop their personal and professional skills.

All summer interns will receive a stipend while interning at the Hall of Fame. If an applicant is seeking college credit, the Hall of Fame will work to meet all necessary requirements.

The application portal for the 2026 Summer Internship Program is now closed. Internship applications submitted will be reviewed by mid-February.

“I not only grew in hospitality experience, but also in things I love to do such as fan engagement. I developed new skills in these moments when it came to guest experience and detail orientation, which have become key in my everyday work life.” — Dru, 2025 Summer Intern, Hospitality Department

"What I enjoyed most about my internship experience was getting to meet and work with all of the other interns. I really liked how there were only a select few of us, allowing us to really get to know one another and develop strong, long-lasting relationships. I also appreciated the fact we were able to see our efforts throughout the internship program culminate in Enshrinement Week.” — Kelsea, 2025 Summer Intern, Accounting Department

“This was the best culture I've been around. People genuinely want to help each other. I had the most fun of any job I have ever done. Be willing to step outside of your comfort zone and rely on teammates to help you push through difficult times.” — Greg, 2025 Summer Intern, Youth, Education & Leadership Department

"The people really do make the place at the Hall, and it truly was everything to me. I couldn’t turn a corner without running into a smiling face, which in turn always put a smile on mine. Everybody is so driven by the mission and goals that it inspired me every day I came into the office. I enjoyed this summer so much, and I owe it all to the people who foster such a wonderful work environment.” — Mackenzie, 2025 Summer Intern, Marketing Department
