Summer Internship Program

Summer Internship Program

The Pro Football Hall of Fame, located in Canton, Ohio, the birthplace of the National Football League, is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization with the Mission to “Honor the Greatest of the Game, Preserve its History, Promote its Values & Celebrate Excellence Together.” An exhilarating world class museum and attraction, the Pro Football Hall of Fame pays tribute to the talents and triumphs of pro football’s greatest.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame Summer Internship Program provides a meaningful and educational, hands-on experience in a variety of disciplines. Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to the organization’s success and gain real world experience throughout the summer leading up to the annual Enshrinement Week.

In addition to departmental work, all interns are required to attend weekly OTAs – organized team activities – which includes engagement with industry experts, networking opportunities, professional skill development and team building activities.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame understands most individuals seeking an internship are doing so to gain experience. While no particular professional experience is required, preference is given to those who show that they have taken initiative to develop their personal and professional skills.

All summer interns will receive a stipend while interning at the Hall of Fame. If an applicant is seeking college credit, the Hall of Fame will work to meet all necessary requirements.

The application portal for the 2025 Summer Internship Program is now closed. Submitted internship applications will be reviewed and potential candidates will be contacted.

Testimonials from our team

Our 2024 team of summer interns.

“Above all, I enjoyed the opportunity to be closely involved with the history of football and its players. It was such an honor to walk into the Archives and know that I'm playing a part in protecting and uplifting the history of the sports and those who played it, including the greatest in the game.” Hailey, Intern Summer 2024

“I was tasked with a little bit of everything throughout this internship. Whether it was prospecting new business development, analytics, social media development and implementation, and the overall development of Enshrinement Week, I felt as if this experience drastically helped me grow personally and professionally.” — Zach, Intern Summer 2024

The company culture at Pro Football Hall of Fame is amazing. Everyone here makes work fun. I have worked in many different environments, and none has come close to this amazing staff. Be excited and get ready to have one of the greatest experiences you can imagine. There is no better place to be but Canton, Ohio, during Enshrinement Week.” — Daniel, Intern Summer 2024

“Working with my department leadership was great. I felt I could go to them for anything, and I never felt "separate" from the team. They each did everything they could to develop me professionally, answer questions, give me advice and help me build connections. I grew as a person as well. They made me feel like a valuable member of the team, and I feel they helped set me up for future success.” — Ashley, Intern Summer 2024
