THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 2

READING THE PLAYBOOK
7 AM

  • Location: Stark and Summit County Schools
  • Event Description: Our local community partners and The Divine Nine (Black Greek Letter fraternity and sorority organizations) are committed to coaching kids to an education touchdown through a “Reading the Playbook” event during the Classic weekend. This event incorporates mentors and leaders with elementary students for a day of reading and inspiring a strong first-quarter start in life.

CLASSIC COLLEGE FAIR
9 AM

  • Location: Nash Family Event & Conference Center at the Pro Football Hall of Fame
  • Cost: Free for Students
  • Event Description: The Classic College Fair will provide game-changing higher education opportunities for high school students from the surrounding area, giving them the opportunity learn, explore and interact with representatives from several colleges, including many HBCUs from across the country.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 (EDUCATION DAY)

VIP RECEPTION & SOCIAL JUSTICE DISCUSSION
5 PM

  • Location: Nash Family Event & Conference Center at the Pro Football Hall of Fame
  • Cost: Private Event
  • Event Description: Gathering Black College and Pro Football Hall of Famers, leaders from Grambling State and Tennessee State universities, national, state and local dignitaries and national celebrities to discuss social justice issues and solutions as part of the Pro Football Hall of Fame's HuddleUpAmerica series. This important discussion will include impactful stories from Hall of Famers and their journeys on the road to equality and the importance of the BCFHOF today. Stronger Together.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 4 (COMMUNITY DAY)

CLASSIC GOLF OUTING
8 AM

  • Location: Clearview Golf Course, East Canton

  • Event Description: Join Black College Football Hall of Famers and many other dignitaries and celebrities for the second annual Classic Golf Outing at the historic Clearview Golf Course. Last year, more than 75 golfers enjoyed fellowship, food and fun. 

    Clearview Golf Club is the first golf course in the United States that was constructed, owned and operated by an African American. The course was purchased in 1946 by National Black Golf Hall of Famer Bill Powell and opened as an integrated course to the public in April 1948.

CLASSIC "GREEK SERVICE DAY"
9 AM

  • Location: Habitat for Humanity, Canton
  • Event Description: Join members of The Divine Nine for a “Brush with Kindness” neighborhood beautification project.

CLASSIC FUN FEST
11 AM

  • Location: Centennial Plaza, Canton
  • Cost: Free entry and open to the public. Food and drinks for sale.
  • Event Description: A NEW "Classic" tradition! Join us for a day full of fun in downtown Canton at Centennial Plaza. Non-stop entertainment, including music, karaoke, line dancing, games, prizes and a talent show. Food trucks and downtown vendors showing off Canton’s finest foods.

FAITH, FAMILY, AND FOOTBALL GOSPEL CONCERT, FEATURING MARVIN SAPP
5 PM

  • Location: Centennial Plaza, Canton
  • Cost: Free entry and open to the public.
  • Premium Seating: A limited number of premium seats are on sale for sections in front of the stage. Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased here:  Buy Premium Seating
  • Event Description: As a part of the downtown Classic Fun Fest the night will be highlighted with a gospel concert featuring the joyful sounds of 11-time Grammy-nominated artist Marvin Sapp. Very special “must see” appearance by the Grambling State band.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 5 (GAME DAY)

CLASSIC PREGAME PARTY
11 AM - Kickoff

  • Location: Pro Football Hall of Fame Campus
  • Cost: Free entry and open to the public. Food and drinks for sale.
  • Event Description: A "Classic" tradition! Get ready for an energetic pregame experience on the Pro Football Hall of Fame campus before kickoff. The tailgate will include a must-see marching band preview as the university marching bands enter the stadium in extraordinary fashion along with non-stop entertainment, including music, line dancing, games, prizes and talent show.

BCFHOF CLASSIC "BLACK JACKET" REUNION LUNCHEON
11:30 AM

  • Location: Pro Football Hall of Fame/Tom Benson HOF Stadium
  • Cost: Private Event
  • Event Description: The beginning of an annual tradition. A tight-knit huddle of Black Jackets -- members of the Black College Football Hall of Fame. They will share love, laughter and fellowship.

2021 BCFHOF CLASSIC GAME, FEATURING GRAMBLING STATE UNIVERSITY and TENNESSEE STATE UNIVERSITY
4 PM

  • Location: Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium
  • Event Description: Come watch the “Battle of the Tigers” as these legendary HBCU programs collide at the magnificent Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. Don’t leave your seats at halftime as the “Aristocrat of Bands” at Tennessee State and the “Tiger Marching Band” of Grambling State put on a show for the ages! After the game, stay to see the presentation of the MVP and the trophy to the winning team.

Will Call

All walk-up ticket sales and will call pick-ups will be made available on the following days at the Will Call office located at the Symphony Gate for Tom Benson HOF Stadium. This is located by Blake Avenue (McKinley High School & Parking Lot A).

  • Sunday, Sept. 5:  10 AM - 6 PM

Picking Up Tickets

Customers will be required to present a valid state or government issued photo ID, driver's license or passport. A valid ID must be duly issued by a government agency and include a photo and a signature.

The Will Call office will not release tickets if the name on the ID does not match the name used to purchase the tickets or if the photo on the ID does not appear to be the photo of the person retrieving the tickets. 

It is recommended to bring the order number of ticket purchase and the credit card used to purchase the tickets.

If the ticket purchaser, whose name is on the order, would like to authorize another person to pick up the tickets at Will Call, the purchaser is required to alert the ticket office of the change prior to pick up (see contact information below).  The person picking up the tickets will also be required to present a valid photo ID otherwise the tickets will not be released.

Misplaced Tickets

In the event that a customer misplaces or fails to bring their tickets to the event, the Pro Football Hall of Fame has the discretion to reprint/re-issue those tickets. A valid ID and/or order number must be presented in order to reprint/re-issue any tickets.

Parking & Shuttle Service

**Parking is not available on the HOF Campus during the BCFHOF Classic Weekend (9/3/21 - 9/5/21)**

No Tailgaiting. No Alcohol. No vehicle larger than an SUV at HOF Lots.

Uber & Lyft Drop Off/Pick Up

Due to the security perimeter that surrounds the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium guests cannot be dropped off or picked up at the Pro Football Hall of Fame or Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.

Shuttles

The transportation (Uber, Lyft, etc.) drop off/pick up location is at Lot A which is located at 1750 Clarendon Avenue NW, Canton, which is a short distance from both campuses. Guests can be dropped curbside and then walk to the museum or Tom Benson HOF Stadium.

 

Friday, September 3 - Saturday, September 4

Due to the festivities for the BCFHOF Classic, visitor parking for the Pro Football Hall of Fame will be located at LOT A, adjacent to the Hall of Fame. Please set your GPS to 1750 Clarendon Ave. NW, Canton, Ohio, 44708. A shuttle (handicapped accessible) will provide transportation to and from this lot and the Hall of Fame's main entrance during normal operating hours, 9 a.m. through 8 p.m. daily. Your daily parking fee is $10.

Limited handicap parking is available at LOT A on a first come/first serve basis. Additional parking available in Stadium Park Lot and various private properties in the area.

Southbound I-77:  Visitors traveling southbound can use exit 107A and travel through the traffic light onto Blake Ave. Continue for 2,000 feet to Lot A. Parking is on the right.

Northbound I-77:  Use exit 106 and turn left onto 13th Street and continue to the second traffic light and turn right onto Broad Avenue. Turn right onto 17th Street and left onto Clarendon Avenue, parking will be on your right at Lot A.

 

September 5 (BCFHOF Classic - Event Day)

Parking at the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium will be closed to public parking but you do have an option. You may park at Lot A (1770 Blake Ave. NW, Canton, Ohio, 44708). Please remember to secure your valuables and lock your vehicle. Your daily parking fee is $10 which is cash only.

Limited handicap parking is available at LOT A on a first come/first serve basis. Additional parking available in Stadium Park Lot and various private properties in the area.

Southbound I-77:  Visitors traveling southbound can use exit 107A and travel through the traffic light onto Blake Ave. Continue for 2,000 feet to Lot A. Parking is on the right.

Museum Rules

The safety of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s visitors, volunteers, staff and collections is of the highest importance. We work hard every day to ensure the preservation of pro football’s treasures for the enjoyment of generations to come. When you visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame you will discover that we have measures to ensure your safety and the safety of the artifacts contained within.

All bags, purses, etc. will be subject to a physical search when entering the Hall of Fame Campus.

The following items will be prohibited when entering the museum: 

  • Weapons
  • Food and drink
  • Clothing items with disruptive words or images (HOF discretion)

Some common items that are permitted: 

  • Strollers
  • Wheelchairs
  • Service assisting animals
  • Cameras
  • Diaper bag

For those attending events at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium during the BCFHOF Classic, fans must read the following documents and agree to their terms:

To provide a safer environment for the public and significantly expedite fan entry into stadiums, we have implemented an NFL policy that will be used at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium for the Game that limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into stadiums. TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE

The Pro Football Hall of Fame adheres to Security Best Practices. As you arrive at the gate for your security check, you and your belongings will be screened for prohibited items.  All stadium guests are subject to a magnetometer screening.

The only bags, packages or containers permitted to be carried by fans as they enter the stadium are the following:

An officially licensed clear Hall of Fame or NFL logo bag measuring 12” x 6” x 12”. These bags are available for purchase at store.profootballhof.com.

A one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziplock bag or similar).

A small women’s clutch purse approximately the size of a woman’s hand, with or without a strap.

Medically necessary items that will be admitted after being screened at any entrance gate.

PLEASE PLAN ON ALLOWING EXTRA TIME TO ENTER THE STADIUM. We thank you for your patience and understanding to ensure the safety of all guests. Prohibited items discovered during inspections will not be allowed in the Stadium. You may return prohibited items to your vehicle or dispose of them at the gate.

For a quicker entry into Tom Benson HOF Stadium for all events, we encourage patrons to enter the stadium through the Symphony Gate. We expect a higher amount of traffic for entry at the Harrison Gate.

By presenting your ticket and entering the Stadium you consent to such searches and waive any related claims that you might have against the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Hall of Fame Village LLC and related entities, or their agents. If you elect not to consent to the searches you will be denied entry into the Stadium.

Note: Please review your tickets for admittance to the proper gate. All guests and permissible items will be subject to a physical screen and inspection upon entry.

For the health, safety and comfort of all guests, smoking and all other tobacco products to include: cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, smoking devices, vaping devices, dip tobacco and all other tobacco-related products are prohibited inside all of the areas of the stadium. Violators are subject to ejection and prosecution.
