Big Game 10K & Touchdown 2-Mile Race
The Big Game 10K & Touchdown 2-Mile Race is an outdoor event for runners and walkers – in the dead of winter! After the race, kick off your Super Bowl Sunday festivities with a tailgate party and watch the BIG GAME at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The event is presented by the Canton Marathon and sponsored by Michelob ULTRA.
The Big Game 10K race will follow the Canton Marathon’s June 17th 10K race route and the Touchdown 2-Mile race will run through the neighborhood south and west of Fawcett Stadium. Both races run up George Halas Drive and finish in the Pro Football Hall of Fame parking lot. Start time for the 10K race is 1:30 PM and the start time for the 2-Mile is 1:45 PM. Race day registration, including admission to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, will start at 10:00 AM.
Following the race, registered runners and guests will be treated to a Tailgate Party in the NFL Films Theater. Guests who do not wish to participate in the races can register for just the Tailgate Party.
Entry fees(12/01/2011 through 01/14/2012):
• Big Game 10K - $55 (minimum age on race day - 12)
• Touchdown 2-Mile - $45 (ages 12+)
• Touchdown 2-Mile - $35 (ages 6-11; minimum age 6 on Race Day)
• Tailgate Party Only - $35
Registration is open online through www.CantonMarathon.com or directly at www.RSRacingSystems.com. Registration fees increase on December 1st.
All paid entrants will receive a Nike long sleeve technical shirt, admission to the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Tailgate Party. Those who run or walk the 10K will receive a Nike winter hat. All participants will have access to a heated tent, food and hydration at the finish line.
