Class of 2004 enshrinee Carl Eller was selected in the first round of the 1964 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings (6th overall). He was also picked in the first round, fifth player overall, of the American Football League draft by the Buffalo Bills.
Eller opted to sign with the Vikings for whom he starred for the next 15 seasons before ending his career with the Seattle Seahawks.
