HALLoween Family Fun Day at the Pro Football Hall of Fame
The Pro Football Hall of Fame, in partnership with the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, will present the annual HALLoween Family Fun Day on Saturday, October 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
As a part of the celebration, a special Hall of Fame admission discount will be offered to all children and accompanying adults(s) with the donation of two (2) non-perishable food items per person. Children (under 6) are $6.00, (ages 6-14) are $7.00, and adults accompanying children are $9.00 with the food donation. This discount rate applies only to visitors who donate a non-perishable food item; otherwise regular admission rates ($12.00 children, $18.00 adult) are applicable.
All food donations will be given to the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank as part of its ongoing campaign. The “Super 6” most needed items include: canned beef stew, soup, canned tuna, peanut butter, boxed cereal, and canned vegetables.
Kids are encouraged to dress up in their best costume and trick or treat throughout the Hall of Fame for candy and prizes. Every trick or treater will receive a trivia scavenger hunt guide to lead them on a football fact-finding mission as they trick or treat throughout the museum. Fun and frightful characters provided by Scott Costume will entertain kids during their treating adventure.
Kids can also enjoy complimentary cotton candy and fresh-popped popcorn while watching kid-friendly Halloween movies on a large 9’ X 12’ screen in the NFL Films Theater. Fun-filled activities and crafts including paper mache pumpkins and Halloween masks for the kids will be provided compliments of Andy’s Parties.
Museum Store shoppers will have the opportunity to draw a discount coupon at the checkout for a savings ranging 10–40% off their purchase.
The HALLoween Family Fun Day event continues in the parking lot outside of the Hall of Fame where The Farm at Walnut Creek will provide a complimentary petting zoo that includes a camel, llamas, goats, sheep, macaws, and other kid-friendly critters. Families may also enjoy wagon rides around the museum grounds in a horse drawn Amish wagon.
Quaker Steak & Lube will be on hand with food and beverage for purchase. Plus a 14-foot “Mad Scientist” vehicle will set the stage for the “Mad Doctor” to sing and entertain all attendees. There is no additional charge for the entertainment in the Hall of Fame’s parking lot.
