Pro Football Hall of Fame Educational Outreach Program Receives Pinnacle Award
The Pro Football Hall of Fame is proud to announce that its Educational Outreach Program is the recipient of the 2007-2008 Pinnacle Award presented by the Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration (CILC). The award is given annually to organizations in recognition of providing outstanding content. The CILC is a nonprofit organization that supports and advances education through videoconferencing and other collaborative technologies. This award is based on teacher evaluations submitted through the CILC website.
Each school year, the scores of all of program evaluations for each content provider are averaged. The score is derived from seven questions which have numerical value and which drive the star rating system on the CILC website.
The award criteria are that the organization must be a current content provider on the CILC website; must have at least 10 program requests submitted for the designated school year; and the average score for all program evaluations for the year must be 2.85 or higher out of a possible 3 (an individual program receives a star rating if it averages a 2.4 or higher).
The CILC program evaluation assesses several areas. The seven questions which drive the star rating and CILC Pinnacle Award are:
The presenter:
Was knowledgeable about the content.
Was engaging.
