Colts win in Steel City
The Indianapolis Colts beat the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field on Sunday. It marked the first time since 1968 and a span of 12 games that the Colts won in the Steel City. Like the game four decades ago, Colts’ interceptions played an integral part in the team’s win. (NFL.com Game Center: IND 24, PIT 20).
On Sept. 29, 1968, the Colts defense led the way by returning three interceptions for touchdowns to help Baltimore to a dominant 41-7 win over the Steelers.
Bobby Boyd had the first interception for a score on a 25-yard return in the second quarter. The other two interceptions for touchdowns took place in the fourth quarter. Charlie Stukes picked off a pass and ran it back 60 yards for a touchdown and then Roy Hilton returned the lone interception of his 11-year NFL career 13 yards for the Colts’ final score of the day.
The Colts are one of nine teams to score three touchdowns on interception returns in the same game. The NFL record is held by the Seattle Seahawks who had 4 interceptions for TDs against the Kansas City Chiefs on Nov. 4, 1984.

Weekly Top 20 - thru Week #10
During Week 10 action Jacksonville RB Fred Taylor became just the 18th player in NFL history to reach 11,000 career rushing yards. The milestone came on Taylor's second carry of the game. In all he carried the ball 18 times for 80 yards in the Jaguars win over the Lions.
