"Super Bowl Greats" kicks off autograph series
The Pro Football Hall of Fame presents an autograph session on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010 titled “Super Bowl Greats” at the museum in Canton. The event features two ensrhinees with ties to the Super Bowl, linebacker Jack Ham and head coach Marv Levy. This is the first in a series of autograph sessions the Hall of Fame will host in 2010.
Ham and Levy will be on hand from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to sign autographs. The doors open that morning at 9:00 a.m. The cost for the session, which includes museum admission and one autograph from both Ham and Levy, is $35. Tickets may be purchased the day of the event at the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Box Office. A maximum of 300 tickets will be sold for this session.

Ham, drafted in the second round of the 1971 NFL Draft out of Penn State, starred for the Steelers for 12 seasons. He as integral part of Pittsburgh’s “Steel Curtain Defense” that helped the Steelers win four Super Bowls over a six-year span. He was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1988.
He started at left linebacker in three of the Steelers’ Super Bowl wins. Ham contributed two tackles in the Super Bowl IX win over Minnesota; added five tackles and five assists as Pittsburgh downed the Dallas Cowboys 21-17 in the Super Bowl X; and chipped in with seven tackles, three assists, and one pass defensed in the Steelers’ 35-31 victory over the Dallas Cowboys in Super Bowl XIII. An injury suffered in the latter part of the 1979 regular season sidelined Ham and forced him to miss the playoffs including Pittsburgh’s 31-19 win over the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl XIV. | Ham's HOF Bio>>>
Levy, who was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2001, starting his NFL head coaching career with the Kansas City Chiefs from 1978 to 1982. He received his next shot midway through the 1986 season when he took over as head coach the Buffalo Bills. He inherited a Bills team that was coming off back-to-back 2-14 seasons. By his second full season on the job, he guided Buffalo to a 12-4 record and the first of six AFC Eastern Division titles under his watch.
In 1990, Levy led the Bills to unprecedented streak of four consecutive Super Bowl appearances. Buffalo captured the AFC championship each season to earn berths in Super Bowls XXV-XXVIII. He remains the only coach in NFL history to lead his team to four straight Super Bowls. | Levy's HOF Bio>>>
