Fans visiting the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio begin their tour of the museum by seeing some of the Hall of Fame's oldest pieces of memorabilia. By the end of their walk down football's memory lane, they get up close to mementos on display from the NFL's most recent history-making moments.

"We receive such great cooperation from the NFL teams and players throughout the season," commented Jason Aikens, the Hall of Fame's Collections Curator. "It's a real thrill for fans to see moments that just happened that are now on display in the Hall."

One such instance is the arrival on Wednesday of the jersey and gloves worn by Jacksonville Jaguars' wide receiver Mike Thomas from Sunday's last-play win on a "Hail Mary" pass. Also sent to the Hall of Fame was the ball that Thomas hauled in for the memorable winning touchdown. Quarterback David Garrard threw a desperation pass on the final play of regulation. Thomas alertly hauled in the ball after it had been batted away by the Houston Texans secondary to give Jacksonville the exhilarating win.

The play marked just the fourth time in NFL history that a game ended with a go-ahead touchdown catch of at least 50 yards with no time remaining on the clock.

Vick's night to remember

Much of the buzz around the National Football League in Week 10 centered on the spectacular performance by Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick. The game is now forever preserved by his jersey being added to the Hall of Fame's collection.

The veteran passer led the Eagles to a dominating 59-28 win over division rival Washington Redskins on Monday night. He threw for 333 yards and 4 touchdowns and rushed for 80 yards and scored a pair of TDs. In doing so, he became first player to pass for 300 yards, rush for 50 yards, throw four touchdown passes, and rush for two scores in the same NFL game. He is also the first player ever to have three TD passes and two rushing touchdowns in the first half of a game.

Not surprisingly, Vick recorded the highest passer rating of his NFL career as his 20 of 28 passes for 333 yards, 4 TDs, 0 interceptions equated to 150.7 points. A perfect rating is 158.3. Vick also on Monday moved ahead of Hall of Famer Steve Young to rank second all-time in rushing yards by a quarterback. Vick now trails only Randall Cunningham among the QB leaders in career rushing yards.

Career rushing yards by QBs (through Week 10 of 2010 NFL Season)

Quarterback  Teams Yards
Randall Cunningham Eagles, Vikings, Cowboys Ravens 4,928
Michael Vick  Falcons, Eagles 4,295
STEVE YOUNG Buccaneers, 49ers  4,239
