Sharpe set TD mark for TEs
Tight end Shannon Sharpe wore these shoes on Nov. 16, 2003 as he helped lead the Denver Broncos to a 37-8 win over the San Diego Chargers at Invesco Field at Mile High Stadium.
Sharpe had 7 receptions for 101 yards and 3 TDs in the win. His third touchdown was his 61st of his career which at the time set the new NFL record for career touchdowns by a tight end. The previous record holder had been Jerry Smith of the Washington Redskins.
