Sharpe sets reception mark
Shannon Sharpe spent two seasons with the Baltimore Ravens. It was during that time that he established the then-record for most catches in a career by a tight end. He hauled in the milestone reception on Nov. 18, 2001 in a game against the Cleveland Browns. The previous record holder was former Browns player Ozzie Newsome, who at the time was the Ravens personnel manager.
The jersey was signed by both Newsome and Sharpe.
