Both defensive backs being considered for the Hall of Fame’s Class of 2012 are finalists for the first time. Cornerback Jack Butler, one of two senior candidates, retired as the game’s No. 2 all-time interceptor. Aeneas Williams spent 12 seasons at cornerback and two final years at safety. He earned Pro Bowl berths at both positions.
