We’re open every day!

If one were cruising down I-77, the highway adjacent to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, they might wonder if the Hall is open. In fact, the museum’s box office staff has fielded calls asking that very question. The inquiries arise due to the fact the parking lot is being resurfaced with the Hall’s construction project nearly complete.

The answer is YES, WE’RE OPEN. In fact, America’s Premier Sports Museum & Showplace is open every day of the year except Christmas.

Construction workers are diligently working on the finishing touches of the first phase of a two-year, $27 million project called the “Future 50” Expansion & Renovation Project.  The first phase of the project has resulted in major changes to the outdoor campus, construction of the new Ralph Wilson, Jr. Pro Football Research and Preservation Center, an event center, and office space for staff who will be displaced as a result of renovations taking place in the upcoming year.

“The coordination of the construction schedule has been such that we have not had to close off any of our exhibits to our guests,” shared Nichole Cardinale, manager - admissions & special events.

Guest parking from May 7-25

From Monday, May 7 through Friday, May 25, 2012, the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s visitor parking lots will be closed due to installation of a new parking lot as part of our expansion & renovation project.

All Hall of Fame guests should follow the clearly marked signage to parking areas at the neighboring McKinley High School. A courtesy shuttle will be provided, free of charge, from 8:30 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. daily during this period.
