Football fans interested in all angles of one of sport’s greatest celebrations can look no further than their smartphone. The Hall of Fame has created a special hashtag #PFHOF12 for Instagram, Twitter, and Viddy for all things related to the 2012 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival.
The Hall of Fame can be found @ProFootballHOF on most major social media platforms including Facebook and YouTube.
The New Orleans Saints battle the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday night inside Canton’s Fawcett Stadium to kick off the 2012 NFL preseason. The game comes one night after the Class of 2012 – Jack Butler, Dermontti Dawson, Chris Doleman, Cortez Kennedy, Curtis Martin, and Willie Roaf – are formally enshrined on Saturday night on the same field.
Members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame web team will be sharing the story of the 2012 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival through the use of the hashtag #PFHOF12. Behind the scenes Instagram photos, Tweets, and even some quick 15-second clips on Viddy will be posted throughout the weekend.
Tickets remain for both the Enshrinement and the Hall of Fame Game as well as fan parties prior to each event. Buy now>>>

Morgan comes home. A hot topic on social media last night focused on our Facebook post of a photo collage of the Saints’ second-year receiver Joe Morgan who returns to Fawcett Stadium on Sunday. The stadium served as his home field throughout his entire high school career at McKinley High School and his college days playing for Walsh University. Local fans were quick to question his shot of him from high school that we used.
After a deeper look and a post from Joe himself, the Hall of Fame learned that the source of the photo misidentified him in the image sent to us. Nevertheless, Joe was thrilled to be the center of attention on the Hall’s Facebook page and is excited to play an NFL game on the field this weekend. He commented, “This is more than cool. This is an honor.” Check out the corrected post.
