Haslam visits Hall

Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam visited the Pro Football Hall of Fame for the first time on Thursday afternoon. He was given a guided tour through the museum before meeting with the Hall of Fame’s management team.

The Browns new owner greeted visitors, staff, and volunteers as he walked through the Hall of Fame’s exhibit areas. He expressed particular interest in the many mementos related to his team. The Cleveland Browns are the sixth most represented franchise in the Hall of Fame with 16 longtime members enshrined. Haslam commented that he’s looking forward to more Browns joining the ranks in the future.

He was also impressed by the artifacts on display in the Pro Football Today Gallery from history-making moments in 2012.

Haslam was the featured speaker at the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce’s 99th Annual Dinner held at the Canton Memorial Civic Center on Thursday night

Haslam posed next to a display in the Moments, Memories & Mementos Gallery that features legendary Browns Hall of Fame quarterback Otto Graham.

Haslam takes in the Lamar Hunt Super Bowl Gallery as Pete Fierle, Manager-Digital Media/Communications shares a story. Looking on is Hall of Fame President/Executive Director Steve Perry and Hall of Fame Board Member Dennis Nash.

Haslam went behind the scenes with a look inside the new Ralph Wilson, Jr. Pro Football Research and Preservation Center.
