Hall of Famers Floyd Little, Lynn Swann, Kellen Winslow Sr. and Steve Largent are teaming up with Ohio Senator Rob Portman and two House members in Washington today to push Senate members for a commemorative coin to benefit the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
George Veras, president and CEO of Pro Football Hall of Fame Enterprises, said he's grateful to the members of Congress who want "to honor the legacy of the Hall, and promote the rich history and positive values of the game of professional football."
The Pro Football Hall of Fame has the world’s largest collection of artifacts and documents related to pro football. All proceeds from the special U.S. mint coin would help support the recently expanded and renovated museum.
