Larry Allen to receive Hall of Fame Ring
Guard Larry Allen is the second member of the seven-man Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2013 who will receive his Hall of Fame ring. Allen, who was named first-team All-NFL seven straight seasons, will be honored by the Dallas Cowboys at halftime of their Sunday night matchup against division rival Washington Redskins at AT&T Stadium.
The Class of 2013 presentations mark the debut of the newly designed Hall of Fame ring. New York Giants coach Bill Parcells received his Hall of Fame ring during Week 2.
Allen, along with wide receiver Cris Carter, defensive tackle Curley Culp, tackle Jonathan Ogden, Parcells, linebacker Dave Robinson, and defensive tackle Warren Sapp, were formally enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Aug. 3.

It was during the enshrinement ceremony held inside Canton’s Fawcett Stadium that Allen, with help from his presenter Jerry Jones, unveiled the bronze bust that resides permanently in the Hall of Fame. On the eve of that ceremony, Allen received his Hall of Fame Gold Jacket.
The bust, jacket, and the ring are the three physical icons that represent an individual’s induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. All three symbols will be displayed during the ring presentation to Allen on Sunday night. He will wear his Hall of Fame Gold Jacket and his bronze bust will be temporarily removed from the Hall of Fame and shipped to Dallas for the ring ceremony.

Allen was drafted by Dallas in the second round of the 1994 draft and played every position along the offensive line except center during his 12 seasons with the Cowboys. A member of the NFL’s All-Decade Teams of the 1990s and 2000s, he finished his career with two final seasons with the San Francisco 49ers.
The 11-time Pro Bowler is the 14th longtime member of the Cowboys organization to be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The others are: Troy Aikman, Tony Dorsett, Bob Hayes, Michael Irvin, Tom Landry, Bob Lilly, Mel Renfro, Deion Sanders, Tex Schramm, Emmitt Smith, Roger Staubach, Randy White, and Rayfield Wright.
