Walter Jones drops by 2121 George Halas Drive
His busy day began with a personal tour through the Hall of Fame including a behind-the-scenes look at the museum’s archives. Jones enjoyed learning about the history of the game as well as seeing various Seahawks artifacts on display such as the shoulder pads used by his former teammate and fellow Hall of Famer Cortez Kennedy and the jersey worn by current Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson.
The six-time All-Pro spent his time also meeting with Hall of Fame staff members to prepare for the upcoming enshrinement and took time out to meet with local media.
Jones and his fellow classmates – Derrick Brooks, Ray Guy, Claude Humphrey, Andre Reed, Michael Strahan, and Aeneas Williams – will be formally enshrined into the Hall of Fame on Saturday, Aug. 2 at 7 p.m. ET. Tickets and ticket packages for the 2014 Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement are on sale now.
