Hall Scores Vinatieri Artifacts
The Pro Football Hall of Fame recently received the jersey and cleats worn by Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri during the 2014 NFL season. Vinatieri scored 140 points in 2014 to reach and/or break the following milestones and records:
Became the first player in NFL history to score 900 career points with two different teams. Vinatieri scored 1,158 points in 10 seasons (1996-2005) with the New England Patriots and 988 points with the Colts (2006-present).
Upped his career total in points scored to 2,144 to surpass John Carney (2,062) for the fourth-most points all time.
Became the only player in NFL history to score 100-plus points in 17 different seasons.
