Gold Jacket Jim Kelly battled cancer not once, but twice and survived both times. During his second bout with cancer, Kelly didn’t actually realize how bad it truly was until six months ago. That's when his brother, Danny, explained to him he had less than a 10 percent chance to live.
“I knew I was bad, but I knew I was going to beat it. You know I went to my chemo, my radiation and surgery but [I said] ‘hey I’m going to beat it.’ Then he [Danny] told me I had less than a 10 percent chance of living and I go ‘WHAT?’”
