Take Me Out to the Hall of Fame
Members of the Brewers staff, coaches and players, including second baseman Scooter Gennett and outfielder Logan Schafer, made the 50-minute trek south from Cleveland. Aside from enjoying their visit to the Hall, the team was treated to a special behind-the-scenes tour of the museum.

“It’s kind of humbling just seeing all these guys and their accomplishments and seeing all of the artifacts and the things that have been gathered and donated,” Schafer commented.
The Brewers learned the history of their local NFL franchise and Wisconsin neighbor Green Bay Packers and the early history of pro football. The group was also given the opportunity to hold some artifacts such as the helmet worn by current Houston Texans Defensive End J.J. Watt from the 2012 season when he was named the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year.

This wasn’t the first time Gennett has visited the Hall. The second baseman has family living in the area and during one of his family visits his dad took him to the museum.

“I was looking forward to coming and seeing the new stuff and it’s been a great experience,”, Gennett said” “I got a little behind-the-scenes action too which is always fun. Seeing some stuff that not everyone gets to see is pretty cool too.”Pro Football Hall of Fame Tour
