Hollywood actor Chris McDonald, best known for his role as Shooter McGavin in the movie Happy Gilmore, visited the Pro Football Hall of Fame today. McDonald is a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan and was excited to visit the Hall of Fame and cross it off his bucket list.

“It’s incredibly in depth what you have established here – it’s fantastic,” said McDonald. “This is the Vatican of football.”

He received a guided tour through the museum that included a stop in the Hall of Fame’s Ralph Wilson, Jr. Pro Football Research and Preservation Center. McDonald is close friends with former Bills quarterback and Gold Jacket Jim Kelly, which is a big reason why he is a Bills Fan. McDonald was happy to see Kelly's Bust and artifacts on display from his career.

Football has played a major role in McDonald’s life. He is a former football player himself having played at Hobart and William Smith College. He said the Game has helped him find success in Hollywood.

“You can’t play football by yourself and you can’t act by yourself. It takes teammates and co-stars and other actors and it’s a team effort. (There is) no “I” in team.
