Jim Kelly Says Hall of Fame Future is "Special"
Gold Jacket and Buffalo Bills legendary quarterback Jim Kelly has been heavily involved in the Hall of Fame since he was inducted in 2002. Since then, he’s only missed one Enshrinement, even during his fight with cancer, and has enjoyed and cherished his time in Canton with his brothers (other Gold Jackets). He’s also been amazed at how the Hall has grown since its beginning and what it will become in 2019.
“I am not saying this in any disrespect to the people who have led the Hall of Fame before (President) David Baker, because every one of them did something in their own right, in their own time that furthered the Hall of Fame,” said Kelly to The (Canton) Repository. “But David Baker is a visionary. He is a gentle giant who came in at the right time to advance the Hall of Fame. What is happening there right now is special.”
