Dan Fouts Weighs in on Class of 2016 and Selection Process
Gold Jacket and legendary Chargers quarterback Dan Fouts was on hand during Super Bowl 50 to cover the game for Westwood One. During his trip to the Bay Area, Fouts, along with fellow Gold Jacket James Lofton, was able to sit in and observe the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Selection Committee as they met to elect the Class of 2016. It was the first time Hall of Famers were allowed in the room.
The day after the Super Bowl Fouts called into the Rich Eisen Show to talk about that experience. The former quarterback also shared his thoughts on the Class of 2016, especially on Ken Stabler and Brett Favre, the two quarterbacks in the class. Listen to the interview in the video below (skip to 8:45 mark).
