Tony Dungy Shaping Up for Enshrinement

There are a few signs each spring that always seem to indicate that the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Enshrinement Ceremony is right around the corner. The first is when the Hagger countdown clock goes live on the Hall’s website. Another is when sculptor Blair Buswell meets with each member of the class to finalize their bronze bust.
 
Today, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Indianapolis Colts head coach Tony Dungy is spending most of his day sitting in a chair. He is posing for Pro Football Hall of Fame sculptor Blair Buswell as details are added to his clay model before the mold is made that will cast the Bronze Bust. Dungy and his presenter, former Pittsburgh Steelers safety Donnie Shell, will unveil the finalized bust to the world on Aug. 6 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium during the Enshrinement Ceremony.
 

This is an important part of the 13-step Bronze Bust process and usually takes around six hours to complete the facial details.
 
Fellow Class of 2016 member Edward J. Debartolo, Jr. sat through the process yesterday.
